In short

Our prices

The base price covers a complete store with 50 products. Beyond that, you pay for the extra products. If the store has to exchange data with other software, it’s a bigger project.

What goes into the store

Here’s the work behind the store, in the order we do it.

  • 1. Brief: your products, your customers and their path, from the home page to checkout.
  • 2. Store design: the home page, the category and product pages, the cart.
  • 3. WooCommerce setup: Swiss VAT, shipping costs and the emails your customers receive.
  • 4. Catalog: your first 50 products, entered by us.
  • 5. Payment: TWINT, cards and PostFinance.
  • 6. Pages: the home page, the about page, the terms of sale and the contact page.
  • 7. Tracking: online sales tracking and cookie consent.
  • 8. Speed: pages that load fast, on phones too.
  • 9. Test orders and launch: orders placed from start to finish before the store opens, then the launch.
  • 10. Training: so you can run the store yourself, day to day.

What changes the price

  • The number of products. The first 50 are included. Each extra product costs CHF 25. For 100 products, that’s CHF 1,250 more, and the store comes to CHF 11,750.
  • Custom modules. Prices updated live, inventory management or a point of sale in your shop cost CHF 25,000 to 30,000. We quote them after studying your project.
  • The logo. If you don’t have one yet, CHF 2,000 to 3,000.

Store offers don’t all include the same number of products, or the same platform. Before you compare two quotes, ask how many products each one includes, and what work it covers.

What it costs elsewhere

In Switzerland, the price of an online store depends a lot on the size of the team that builds it. Here’s what providers publish on their own sites, grouped into four types.

Type of providerTeamPublished prices for a store
Freelancer1 personCHF 2,500–3,500
Small agency2 to 9 peopleCHF 4,500–12,500
Mid-sized agency10 to 29 peopleCHF 8,000–12,900
Large agency30 people or morerarely published, quoted on request

Published prices, surveyed in October 2026. Each range covers the middle half of the prices published for that type, leaving out the extremes. Most of them exclude VAT, and the number of products included varies from one offer to the next.

  • A freelancer has low prices, and you talk directly to the person who builds your store. They’re often very flexible. On the other hand, one pair of hands does everything: a vacation, an illness or a busy stretch, and the project slows down. They often have one specialty, rarely every skill a store calls for. If they stop, you have to find someone to take over the store.
  • A small agency brings several skills under one roof, with a steady point of contact and prices that are still reasonable. Its capacity is limited for a big project, it depends on a few key people, and quality varies a lot from one agency to the next.
  • A mid-sized agency has a full team, from design to development, plus SEO and ad campaigns. Its project process is well proven, and absences get covered. Its prices are higher, project management time is billed, and you often talk to a project manager rather than the person doing the work.
  • A large agency has the capacity for big projects: several languages, several sites, highly specialized experts and brand strategy. The trade-off is high minimum budgets and prices that are rarely published. Small requests often come after the big clients, and several layers of people stand between you and the ones doing the work.

Our store, at CHF 10,500, sits in the small-agency range.

WooCommerce or Shopify

Both are for selling online. The difference comes down mostly to who hosts the store, and what you pay each month.

  • WooCommerce is a free, open-source WordPress plugin, according to woocommerce.com. The store is installed with the hosting provider of your choice, in your name.
  • Shopify is a platform hosted by Shopify and paid for by subscription. On its pricing page for Switzerland, checked on November 1st, 2026, the Basic plan costs CHF 29 a month and the Grow plan CHF 79 a month. Billed annually, it’s CHF 21 and 59 a month. A fee is added to every payment.

We build with WooCommerce. The store runs in WordPress, like our brochure websites, and the site, the domain name and the accounts are created in your name.

When another provider is a better fit

If you’re set on Shopify, a provider who works with Shopify every day will serve you better, since we build with WooCommerce. If your store has to sell in several countries and several currencies, or if you want a team you can reach at any hour, a mid-sized or large agency will be better placed. And if you’d like to test selling online with a few products first, a freelancer may be enough.

For a store that sells in Switzerland, our fixed price, with every step listed, tells you what you’re paying for before you sign.

What’s included, and what isn’t

Included: all the steps listed above, with 50 products entered, TWINT, card and PostFinance payments, the Swiss VAT setup, the test orders, the launch and the training.

Not included: professional product photos, and monthly maintenance, which stays optional.

Frequently asked questions

Can I add my products myself?

Yes, of course. We enter the first 50 products, then the training shows you how to run the store day to day, including how to add products. If you’d rather leave the next ones to us, we enter them from your data: CHF 25 per product.
