How much does SEO cost in Switzerland?

In short

Our SEO & AEO plan costs CHF 3,500 a month: four new pages every month, each with its own tool or chart, plus technical SEO, quality links and your AI visibility. The month’s report and site maintenance come on top, at CHF 800. Everything we’ll do is written into the quote.

AEO is the work of getting your business cited when someone asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude or Google’s AI answers a question. That part has its own page: AEO pricing.

What a month includes

The plan is a list of tasks. Here’s what you pay for, month after month.

TaskWhat’s done
Four new pagesEach one is written for a search your customers make, for example “electrician Morges,” with a tool or a chart. Every page goes through research, writing, design, its tool or chart, SEO and publishing.
Technical SEOEvery week: speed, errors, pages Google reads poorly, and existing pages that could move up.
Quality links2 to 4 links a month, from Swiss directories and partner sites. Never bought.
AI visibilityYour Google Business Profile, your reviews, and the questions tracked each month, put to ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Google’s AI answers. When they get a fact about you wrong, we correct the source.

How much an SEO audit costs

Not sure where to start? The audit looks at your site, where you stand in AI answers and your Google Ads account. It ends with a written action plan. It costs CHF 800, and it’s credited in full if you sign one of the monthly plans, on a 6-month term, within 30 days. Here’s what it covers:

  • Technical check of the site
  • Searches and competitors
  • Questions put to ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Google’s AI answers
  • Google Business Profile and reviews
  • Google Ads account, or the plan for a first account
  • Written action plan

Why a 6-month term

SEO takes time. Google has to find your new pages, read them, then weigh them against your competitors’ pages. The first effects usually show after a few months. After that, the published pages stay, and they keep working for you.

Six months leaves time to publish, measure and adjust. It’s also a common term among Swiss providers. After those six months, the plan continues month to month, with 30 days’ notice.

What changes the price

  • The number of pages published each month. Each page aimed at its own search costs CHF 700. The plan includes four a month. If your market calls for more, we add them at the same price.
  • The state of your site. If it’s slow or hard to edit, a redesign may need to come before SEO. That costs CHF 6,000 to 9,000. For the details, see what a website costs.
  • AI visibility. It’s included in the plan. To learn more: AEO pricing.
  • Advertising. Google Ads is paid separately, or together with SEO in the Growth plan. See what Google Ads management costs.

What it costs elsewhere

Swiss providers who publish their prices fall into four types, by team size. Here’s what they usually charge for SEO.

Type of providerTeamSEO, per month
Freelancer1 personCHF 300–700
Small agency2 to 9 peopleCHF 600–2,500
Mid-sized agency10 to 29 peopleCHF 1,500–3,250
Large agency30 people or morerarely published

Published prices, surveyed in October 2026. Each range shows the middle half of the published prices. Agency prices usually exclude VAT.

  • Freelancer. Low prices, lots of flexibility, and you talk directly to the person who writes your pages. But there’s only one pair of hands: a vacation, an illness or a busy month slows everything down. A freelancer often has one specialty, rarely all of them. If they stop, you have to start over.
  • Small agency. Several skills under one roof, a steady point of contact and prices that are still reasonable. But its capacity is limited for a large site, it depends on a few key people, and quality varies a lot from one agency to the next.
  • Mid-sized agency. A full team, from writing to technical work, a well-tested method, and absences get covered. The trade-off: prices are higher, project management time is billed, and you often deal with a project manager rather than the person who writes your pages.
  • Large agency. The capacity for big projects: several languages, several sites, highly specialized experts and brand strategy. But minimum budgets are high, prices are rarely published, small requests come after big clients, and you go through several intermediaries.

Our plan includes four complete pages a month, along with technical SEO, quality links and your AI visibility: that’s more work than most published plans. Its price is public, everything we’ll do is written down in advance, the way an agency does it, and you talk to the same person from the first call to the monthly report.

When another provider is a better fit

If your site has thousands of product pages, or needs to be found in several countries with native copy in each language, a mid-sized or large agency will suit you better. It has the writers and the specialists to publish every week.

At the other end, if you only want a little advice now and then, with no commitment, a freelancer will do the job. Our plan is built for a small business that wants to be found in its region or in French-speaking Switzerland, month after month.

What’s included, and what isn’t

Included: the work listed above, and access to every account (Search Console, Analytics, Google Business Profile), created in your name. The month’s report and site maintenance come on top, at CHF 800 a month. They’re included in the Growth plan.

Not included: building or redesigning the site, professional photos and Google Ads advertising. We commit to a result, the indicator agreed at the start, as our terms say. Not to a position on Google: no one controls that.

Terms

  • Monthly plans: an initial 6-month term, then month to month, with 30 days’ notice.
  • Billing: at the start of each month, payable within 10 days. One-off work: 50% at the start, 50% at launch.
  • Ownership: you own the site, the content, the domain name and every account (Google Ads, Analytics, Search Console, Google Business Profile), all created in your name.
  • Guarantee: if the indicator agreed at the start (calls, requests, directions) misses its target after 90 days, the 4th month is free. It applies as long as tracking, budget and your part are in place.

Frequently asked questions

Does SEO replace Google Ads?

No, the two complement each other. Google Ads brings you visits as soon as the campaign is running, and they stop when the budget does. SEO takes a few months to get going. In return, the pages you publish stay on your site and keep bringing in visits, without paying for every click. Both together make up the Growth plan, at CHF 6,800 a month.

Are my Google Business Profile and reviews included?

Yes. They’re part of AI visibility: your Google Business Profile, your reviews and the questions tracked each month. Google shows them when people search nearby, and AI assistants read them too when they talk about you.
